The Kenwood NXR1700 is a VHF analog and digital repeater designed to boost two-way radio communications. With a stated range of approximately 50 km, it helps extend coverage for compatible radios. The repeater is supplied complete with a battery cable.

Support for up to 32 channels and a clear 1.71-inch OLED display make day-to-day operation straightforward. Its built-in IP network adapter and remote management capabilities also support convenient network administration.

For wider communication systems, the NXR1700 supports multi-site conventional IP networking for digital and FM analog across up to 16 sites in unicast mode. Multicast mode is listed as unlimited, depending on the IP backbone equipment. A license is required for multi-site networking.
